Peggy's Cove
This past summer, I travelled to Nova Scotia to meet my partner's family, as well as explore the east coast. There I had the opportunity to do loads of sightseeing to historical sites, gardens, art galleries, and many many trips to the ocean. For my project, I decided to recreate a landmark that most will recognize, or at the very least associate with the Maritimer east coast.
Most of the materials used were either paint or glass, however, for the light portion of the lighthouse I custom made a dual material with both glass and plastic textures. I felt the mix added more depth and colour compared to just using stained glass or plastic materials.
